Transmitting Downtempo to Earth.

In 1977, NASA launched the Voyager space probe on a mission to explore the outer reaches of our solar system. The spacecraft is now the most distant human-made object in space.

Recently, Voyager began transmitting its encounters back to Earth...

...and we're relaying its transmissions back to you! To tune in to VoyagerRadio you simply need an MP3 audio player like iTunes, Winamp, Musicmatch, RealPlayer, XMMS, or Windows Media Player. Nearly all computer systems come pre-installed with at least one of these types of programs, so basically all you have to do is click one of the variety of download links you'll find on our website (such as this one), or head to our Podcast page to download audio to fill your iPod, iRiver, or other portable MP3 audio device with.

First-Time Tuning In?

If this is your first time tuning in, I recommend downloading our podcast, Tempo of the Down, from our Podcast page. It's probably the easiest way to begin listening to VoyagerRadio; all you have to do is click one of the MP3 audio download links to hear an episode of Tempo of the Down right away.

To truly enjoy the VoyagerRadio experience, however, you need to get a podcatcher application. A podcatcher will automagically download podcasts to your computer or iPod (or iPod-like device). Find out more about podcatchers (sometimes referred to as iPodder apps) at a site like audioblogs.info, a resource for podcasting and other personal audio.
